I can’t imagine that Blizzard actually intended Surge of Darkness to be tanked, but sadly it’s easier to just blow cooldowns on Surge than to actually kite Vezax.

Pulled Mimiron for the first time tonight. Also killed Mimiron for the first time tonight. Some nice synergy there.

11/14, things seem to be moving along again which is nice. Working on Vezax and hopefully Yogg-Saron tomorrow.

10/14, with just Mimiron to go before we get to play with Vezax and Yogg. Not really much else to say about it.

We’re still looking for some DPS to fill out raids, so if you’re interested in helping us learn what is probably the most annoying fight in the game to date, hop on over to the Apps forum and post an app.

Not much to say here. Lost two days to the shithole of a server that is Zul’jin. Knocked out Flame Leviathan early on Thursday, then XT at the end of the day Sunday. Razorscale and Ignis fell today, and we got some solid attempts in on Kologarn.

10-man progression went a bit more smoothly. Over two days, we had one group clear the Siege and Antechamber areas and one-shot Freya. With more time, we probably could’ve cleared the place. Next week!

… but it still feels good. Attendance issues suck, especially when content is so stupidly easy that people get bored and quit and it’s impossible to replace them in a decent amount of time.

Oh well.
